In addition to multi organ-transplantation, the transplant surgeons have a very active interest in patients with hepatobiliary disorders not necessarily requiring transplantation. These include malignant and non-malignant liver neoplasm, cholangiocarcinoma, benign biliary disorders, and pancreatic disorders. Our multi-disciplinary approach to patients with hepatic malignancies allows us to offer patients a spectrum of therapies. Percutaneous radio-frequency interstitial tumor ablation therapy (RITA), is a heat ablative procedure performed by our radiologist allowing us to offer patients multi-modality therapy.
