University Transplant Center

Our program has grown to be one of the largest transplant programs in volume in Texas.	Every patient referred to our program benefits from our strong history of research, education, creative innovation, comprehensive medical expertise and surgical excellence.	Our highly skilled transplant surgeons have performed over 1,000 kidney transplants and have conducted many successful combined kidney/pancreas transplants in adults.

The University Transplant Center is the only facility performing living liver transplants in Texas.	The stories of organ recipients, living donors and donor families explain the importance of organ transplantation.	A community of transplant survivors, donor families, physicians, medical professionals, and social workers support our patients.
